Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at the stadium, where the team walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a light blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

Celebrations began prior to the parade, with Dodgers fans setting off flares in the roads of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The World Series MVP, named the World Series’ Most Valuable Player, commented directly about the victory.
“We refuse to lose,” Yamamoto said. “I love the Dodgers. I love Los Angeles.”
Mixed Reactions and City Unity
In contrast, the team owner received a cooler welcome at the rally. Video footage from the event seem to depict him walking onstage to a combination of cheers and boos, with jeers interrupting his address.
The championship served as a positive moment in what has been a trying year for Los Angeles. An estimated quarter-million people attended to the Dodgers’ victory parade last year, and according to team member Freddie Freeman, fans this year demonstrated as much if not more enthusiasm.
“It seems it’s almost double from last year,” he remarked. “The supporters are incredible. It’s so awesome to be a part of this.”
