Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game winning run came to an end by Sunderland before the international hiatus, but can the English top division leaders recover against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a range of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' new record, Knees Up, is out on the weekend.

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not planning a professional return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity game the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.
"I won't force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be coaching their weekend soccer team," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our side for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite close, though. The Clarets are well organised and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This smells of a 1-1 tie to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four matches.
My son told me to get Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's team pose much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually turns out to be quite tight. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six games.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.
The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are clearly able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the end of last month.
However I am not going to choose that. Instead, I really need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Considering Fulham's home record, the sole side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0

It is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
